Businesses worldwide are affected by cybercrime because it affects their ability to conduct business online. The estimated loss to the economy is large and expected to increase. The government economy, infrastructure, and traditional businesses are vulnerable to cyberattacks, not just the modern computing industries. There is a strong emphasis on the importance of cyber security for any given business. The financial and reputational costs of cybercrime can be enormous ( Agrafiotis et al., 2018) . DoS, data theft, database destruction, and many other types of cyberattacks can negatively impact economies in their unique ways. The systematic analysis of cybercrime costs suggests governments should invest less in antivirus software and more in internet monitoring.

Combating cyber-terrorism threats is complicated because there is no agreed-upon definition. Social, political, ideological, and economic factors are all potential impetuses for cyber terrorism. Certainly, any act of cyber terrorism aims to inflict maximum physical harm, maximum economic damage, and maximum financial harm. An attack must have a motivational component, result in death and widespread destruction, and be politically motivated for it to be classified as cyber terrorism.
